Hi all, I don't know if it's a strange request but anyway, how much would be a sealed Tetris, for Gameboy(the black&white one)?

I did some searching on ebay but I'm not used to it( = couldn't get any results) :p

    TIA.

Depends on region, though even Jap isn't too valuable. Max 2500 yen.

thanks Mark30001. If I remember, it's almost like that box, but without the gold letters.

    Warakia:
    According to XE, 2500yen is U$21 :)

Yeah. Most people prefer the original releases (The one you seem to have) than the US Million Sellers re-releases.

what i'd like to mention is that i think that there aren't "sealed" gameboy games out there

they can only be minty boxed

Prolly in flea markets. I saw a sealed "I think" NTSC SNES & a Japanese Super Famicom...

This is incorrect. At least all North American Game Boy games (of all flavors) ship in a shrinkwrapped form.

It's been years since I've bought a new Gameboy game, but as I recall many of them weren't shrinkwrapped. A few of them were, but I'm pretty sure a few of them (Pokemon comes to mind) weren't.

I think ones like @ Toys R Us with the bulky canister with the barcode around the games came with non sealed boxes, while the individually sold ones like at Wal Mart were sealed...

Well, the last game I bought from Toys R Us is Sonic Adventure 2 for the DC, so I dunno if they still do that...

If you bought them in the US, they were shrinkwrapped. If not, they weren't new.

In the UK they were shrinkwraped.

All US Gameboy games (GB, GBC, GBA, DS) games are shrinkwrapped when brand new.
Just like any game sold for any console. If it's not shrinkwrapped, then you're buying the famed "display copy" that Gamestop and EB are notorious for, or it's used.

Toys R' Us and Walmart and other retailers in USA had them all shrinkwrapped. Only the display boxes would be without the shrinkwrap because they would open them up to take the game out and put the empty box on the shelf for people to look at.

I've sold games at my stores since the first Pokemons hit the US shores. They and every other one I ever sold afterwords were shrinkwrapped.
