    Just what the title says.

    What is the general price difference for a 1chip as compared?

    None, most people have no clue they even have a 1chip model.

    On a similar note and maybe already widely known. I have found that the label on the underside of 1 chip models has black text and the 2 chip models has blue text. I don't know if this is always true, but all the SNES consoles I have seen follow this pattern.

    The ones I have are all the purple / blue on the underside;

    Maybe your 1CHIP units are newer than mine? Got a serial to compare?

    On topic though, I've never seen a price difference between the two. Not that I hunt for SNES units on a regular basis! :wink-new:
    Personally I'm more fond of the older ones with their microchips everywhere! :victorious:

    Mine was a refurbished model... because the serial was in a completely different location... and the original indent where it was supposed to be was empty.

    Never seen any noticeable price difference on a forum like this either.

    It would be madness to try and charge a premium, when you can pick them up on ebay for cheap
