ok, they want to know my course for the student discount (Bsc Earth Sciences)...... it involves a bit of GIS but no programming or references to gaming. Should I bullshit and say im doing another course (they want the address for the university) or try with the course im doing?

I'm very interested in this. Has anyone who's in university actually tried ordering one? What kind of questions are they asking? I'm looking to do a masters research project on videogame audio hardware next year, are they likely to sell me one on that kind of basis?

I ordered one with a discount. I tried to order a second one but I wasn't allowed as I have already got one!!

All it asks for is the address of your institution and course name. That is it.

They may check it but I doubt it - I am a real student anyway studying computing so there's nothing dodgy about my application. I'd snap one up before they all go. They go for silly money on Ebay, especially the US versions of it.
