Printed Box art Plastic Cases for cartidge games, yay or nay?

    If those boxes cost $1 and the shipping could be affordable, sure why not but for $5 for a similar to DVD case... nah...

    And those box reproductions I did many here and in the end you just feel like wishing to have the real deal. The end result is always lame.

    You have to look at the reason they're being sold.

    I see people saying things like "I could make these" [not directed at you Yakumo, this is just in general when the case for reproduction cases etc are brought up]

    Great, go for it. These are being made and assembled then sold for a small profit for the casual collector. Those who buy games to play, they don't want to shell out for CIB games, but want the games to be protected and pretty.

    Would I go for them? Absolutely not, both because I don't collect games like that anymore and because I think those universal game cases are very expensive.

    I just dont see why some people get so angry over this.

    Not a big fan of these at all. But if they are your thing that is cool too as I can see how people would like them. Saw some great labels someone made awhile ago for Compact Flash cards they were using with a IDE to CF converter for some arcade board that I liked though.
