I am looking for information and the 'official' trade name of the following:

A special see-thru material for covering screens that only allows a viewer to see the contents of the screen which it overlays, under a 90degree angle.

This way i can keep those pestering third parties watching from the sides off my back.

I d also appreciate any links and prices.

This is pretty urgent and important, if you can help, please do.

I think the name is : Privacy Screen Protectors.

I need it in bulk sto i can cut and stick it on a digital watch.

I need that too. And cuttable because I want it for my PDA. Nothing pervy, just privacy.

THey sell them everywhere in Japan. Don'T like them myself because they alter the contrast of the screen. Sure you can't see the screen at an angle but you can't see it "perfectly" head on either.

I ll need to test it myself to be honest. As you might have understood it is obviously for privacy reasons. I can't seem to find any UK dealers that offer the item on ebay though.

I m thinking of buying a cellphone-intended version of it and cutting it to the right size!

You might have to buy two, one for your laptop and the other to cut up for your cellphone. They are not cheap.
