Well, judging from what i could see and from the seller's others items, it seems that this is a mario 64 bootleg. He doesn't mention anything that proves otherwise, he only says it's an adventure game.

    The text says replica.

If they created a copier for the N64, it shouldn't be too hard to create a ROM cartridge.

erm no, no pirate AES carts.
pirate N64 carts, absolutely. I mean hackjobs and original pirate games - I've never seen any.

Actually I've seen more pirate material (and more widely available) in spain than in any of my trips to latin america.

And what would be the point of making pirate AES cartridges if the console is so expensive to begin with? plus most AES users like to have everything "original" while most pirates would just emulate the thing.

Same reason that people make MVS->AES conversions, I'd assume.

Indeed, here in my country you rarely see a pirate cart, but lately i've noticed that pc, ps2, xbox 360 and wii "backups" are much more easier to find than 2 years ago, but still not that easy Sometimes i really hate my country

the point is pirated stuff 99% of the time originates in china (apart from copied disc media) not south america - and the only neo geo aes related pirate is that flash memory device for backups that was apparently shite, but very interesting nontheless.

you do find an odd amount of neo geos in Brazil - SNK had a strong presence here in latin america but the AES market was singularly strong in Brazil. I know most AES carts and stuff came in through Paraguay.

Haha, that cartrige looks like garbage (then again, most pirated games do...). It's most likely Mario 64 with a crappy label.

I was there, and I saw "stuff"...

Does "princo" sounds familiar to you? what about "top manta"?

To those who dont know, thats some of the spanish pirate slang.

In south america, shops sell Super Joy's, Magister Drive's, and pirate carts. It's not the same. On southamerica you can go a shop and buy a CD full of SNES rom's.

Here in Chile it's very common to find stuff like that. For US$2.00 they give you the full SNES US rom set
