I have a genuine copy of SEGA Superstars Tennis that I would like to extract. I already dumped the whole disc to a iso. However while extracting the iso (using wx360) the program chrashes at a specific point. Are there any other ways to extract the iso and/or the disc so I get the contents of the disc? Thanks in advance!
You could try this: 1. Remove the HDD-if not, it will delete everything on it! 2. Revert back to the 4548 kernel. 3. Run bootloader, so it will show the game in a DVD partiton on Xbox 360 Neighborhood. 4. Copy the files from the root of the DVD partition. 5. Upgrade back to the kernel you were using before. 6. Replace the HDD And, that's all you would have to do, copying the files is what takes the longest in my experiences. Hope this helps!
Thanks, I was actually thinking of that method. But I don't like the idea of down/up-grading my kernel :S.
I've done it plenty of times and never had any problems, but I do know a hdmi dev can mess up with certain kernels.
wombat there is a tool in the sdk for extrac images that dosent crash as wx360, its a dos exe, i cant remember the name now but its the reverse tool of the one that ppl used to create xbox1 images, its something like gdfextract or something like that, have a look at the sdk folder for it
It depends wether it's a zephyr (very rare but can actually run 4532) or a falcon (common but cannot run 4532/4548)
Thank you all for your support. The problem was solved with the following solution: - Xbox Backup Creator, image browser
