    Hi everyone,

I will comment, I have a problem with EverDrive. I have a mega drive PAL and a 32X NTSC converted to PAL with switch.

The problem comes when loading 32x roms, I've tried both formats. bin as .32 x. In which they are loaded, they are few graphical errors appear, for example in Virtua Fighter or Primal Rage do not see the characters or scenarios.

I you can lend a hand? The consoles I have them connected by video AV.

sounds like you're missing the cable that runs from the megadrive av jack, into the 32x.. and then you connect the av out from the 32x to the television.

I have no link or av cables or for the lawn. I used bare wires connected to pins AV composite, ie AV signal, not RGB.

Leave a picture, but I say that no game is not working properly, all 32X games are graphics errors, but not the

I would laugh, but I won't for fear that wiring actually works. Just to check: have you tried a regular 32X game in the machine, just to make sure the problem is not your setup?

It doesn't work because you need to connect the RGB signal to the 32X, NOT the AV signal. The 32X takes the RGB signal from the Mega Drive and combines it with its own which you can still output from the 32X in AV.

Save yourself some trouble and buy a proper 32X link cable.

I understand that is a fad, but just 4 cables, 2 AV and 2 ground, no big deal, is just a test, does not operate normally I'm not spending a dime on cables. I have no game 32x but there are several videos on youtube 32x games work fine without graphical errors.

But as MottZilla already said it wont operate normally unless you use the correct cable with the RGB signals connected

If you don't buy the cable, you just need to use wires to connect the signals like you did for Video and Ground, only you need to do it for Red Green Blue Sync. I've connected a 32X like this before I got a proper cable and it does work. But be absolutely sure you connect things correctly as there is +5v present on the connector and you could fry something if you mess up.

I'm new here and I do not want to start having disputes with anyone. Neither flashcart cost me 80$ or cables are worth 5$, like in your country itself.

Unfortunately, it sounds like there is a problem with either the cabling or the 32X, and not the ROMs or the Everdrive. For example: characters not appearing in Primal Rage and Virtua Fighter is a common sign of the cable from the Mega Drive to the 32X not working. (see: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VvR_3OTxs8A#t=03m51 )

The trouble is: unless you can confirm the 32X works with the original cables, it's very difficult to confirm whether the problem is the 32X or the wiring.

It's may be the cable needs more pins connected in order to work - just hooking up a single AV point on the blue wire between the 32X and the Mega Drive likely isn't enough. Could you tell us what pins you have connected on the 32X socket and on the Mega Drive socket, to make it easier for someone to replicate your problem?

Did you read the rest of the thread? This has all been answered. He needs to feed the RGB signal from the Megadrive to the 32X. Simple.

mooseblaster, we already know he didn't connect the RGB signal to the 32X. That is the problem. And as I said before, if you want to do it with wires that will work. Just be sure to properly connect all the signals, atleast R,G,B, and Sync.

I have already made an RGB cable and a cable link. Since I work at least 32x primal rage is the only game I've ever tasted. I'll check the cable because it vibrates a little screen.

Yes, I did read the rest of the thread - I'm sorry if I wasn't clear enough that I was agreeing with everyone else. I was mainly showing him an example of what happens when it's not wired up correctly (so he could compare his problem with that of a faulty cable) and, seeing that he is unable to find a cable at a reasonable price, suggested he wire up more pins.

As for the 'what wire *do* you have connected' bit, I was just curious as to what he was attempting in the first place. You'd think that if he got one line hooked up it would produce *something*, not just missing characters as if no cable was plugged in at all.

@pedrinky: so, you got your Everdrive for a good price then? Any clues as to where from and how much, as every seller I've seen flogs it at the $79.99 price point.
