Problem with User: kiff / He do not send me my package Hello there, i have a problem. on Dec 15. i bought a TEST PS2 from user kiff. I payed him with bank transfer, because i have no paypal. And in the User - User transaction feedback i read only good about him. So i payed on Dec 17. and from that on i heard nothing from him. I wrote 5 PMs whats the status of my package is. But nothing..... In my last PM i wrote that i will contact my lawyer if he do not answer me... and then abrupt a PM comes from him where he excused himself that he had no internet etc... (but in the meanwhile he was several times online) But ok. he sayed that he wanna send my TEST Unit on the next day.. that was on: January 5th He sayed that he will give me the tracking number on the next day.. but now the same again.. he was not online for about 2 Days and he do not contact me in any way... Did somebody else have problems with him? So i am really pissed off.. I send him 110 Pounds.. and thats not peanuts for me. I work really hard for my money. Greetings Bjoern
Hey, I buyed some stuff from him (with paypal). He is quite busy, and thus sometimes slow, but reliable. I always got what I bought and it was as described.
As kammedo already stated, he is a very friendly, reliable but busy person. I also bought a TEST PS2 from Kiff and received it, so no need to worry he's a scammer. I know it probably doesn't sound very satisfying, but I think you should give him some more time.
I heard that Kiff lost his ISP over the Christmas / New Year period. Apparently his provider (Virgin) have pretty poor customer service and they annoyed him so much, he is in the process of moving to a new ISP. Fingers crossed!
From what I know kiff should be a legit guy as in he will probably not scam you, but I do believe its the sellers duty to with or without internet make sure it's buyers are fully up to date on the status.. even if it means saying you can't ship it until next month. Having no internet at home is not a good reason as using internet nowadays can be done everywhere, from your mates mobile and even at your grandma's. It's not that hard to go some place send a pm to say sorry it has been delayed instead of avoiding PM's/mails which i really hate when communicating with sellers (especially when you see they have been on the forum!!! not naming any names lol) So not being a scammer is one thing, but a good seller: keeping communications clear is another. I myself don't always have time to ship fast, but I make sure everyone is up to date on the matter even if I have to send smoke signals across the lake or send pidgeons around When will we finally have a decent way to give feedback to others on this forum instead of "not" having to read in to those huge amount of posts in the feedback thread?
You dont really need to read much in the feedback thread just search for the name of the person in the thread. Works wonders. There are several things that need to be implemented before we think of adding anything new to the forum like this and im not even sure that with the small ammount of deals that we have it would be hugely worthwhile.
I wonder just how many transactions are conducted on AG every month? For one thing, without AG I don't think I would have safely been able to sell almost my entire development collection. It might be 'small' in certain terms, however I think more deals are struck and conducted via AG than meets the eye and a lot of it goes unrecorded via any form of feedback. Sticking them onto eBay is becoming less and less attractive, plus a lot of the material simply cannot be listed for very obvious reasons. Kiff hasn't replied to my emails for a few days, so I am not sure how good his access is to the Internet at present. He was kicking about on MSN last week and acknowledged that he was way behind in things. He was meant to be buying something from me, however may have decided not to in the end. Whenever I have dealt with him all of the items have arrived, even if it took slightly longer than I expected.
I've been on the receiving end of Kiff's generosity, so I feel I owe it to him to stand up for his integrity here. It took a while - but he was essentially giving me a working NES for free, one that does its duty with some regularity now, and for that I hold him in the highest esteem. Having chatted over MSN, and from his conduct here, I'm confident he's a decent bloke. He hasn't been online recently for me either so I imagine he's simply stuck without a working net connection. Give it some time and I'm sure he'll come through with the goods.
Hello at all, Thanks for your feedback, So i will wait ang give him some more time. But i 100% agree with port187 Thanks Bjoern
The only thing is, he told me on Thursday that he has now packed the Unit and on the next he will send it from his work and give me the tracking number.. on the next day he was online... but do not send me any trackingnumber...
I think we should stay on topic He is not online for 5 days now... i thought he has internet on his work?
He's not shown up on my MSN for a long time now. This is really unusual as he does have access at work, which he usually uses to say hello at least twice a day. For the last week or so, nothing! I've had a couple of people ask me whether I have seen him so it's not like he has blocked me for some reason. It's not like him at all.
