i've been trying to get war gods working for a while with my chipped slim psone model. i tried a few different rips including the redump rip and they all freeze at the eurocom screen at the start with music playing in a loop. for a while i figured maybe all the rips were bad but the burns i have made all work on my ps2 which is strange. i done some google searching this evening and it seems i ain;t the only persin with the war gods eurocom freeze, some people even had the same problem after purchasing the original game which was going to be my next move. can anyone shed any light on why this game aint working? unfortunatly the forums i searched in the posters didn't provide any useful info along with the problem so i don't know if they also were using a psone slim and not a original fat console like myself or what. all i know is that backups and original games are not working for some people. there are some strange games on the ps2 which wont work properly if certain circumstances aint met (ie: one game don't seem to work properly without a second pad inserted. so i'm wondering if it's maybe not enough memory card space or incompatibility with psone model. my spindle is worn on my old fat ps1 so i will have to order one to try it on that. any info would be great guys, it's bugging me now lol. edit - i know there has been no replies to this thread so maybe nobody knows whats causing the issue but i have now got the game working on my slim psone using the psx hacker disk to boot it. i tried two applications from the hacker compilation cd 1. import game booter and 2. gameshark 5. for some reason the game seems to pass the eurocom logo when booting with these applications then game continues to play perfectly. i don't know why the game works flawlessly using these applications to boot but the main thibng is it works. handly to know if you are one of those people having problems playing war gods.
