Problems extracting newer games with dvdmulleter and converting them for dev use

I noticed as of late that DVDmulleter doesn't read the newer iso files such as for example Prototype (Wave3). I get a blank root.

My question is which program to use for extracting the more recent isos so you can use them on your dev?

 

I would not say it's because of wave3..

Saints row didn't extract, among many other games I have ISOs of..
It's just the way the format is laid out. If I remember correctly, neither abgx, XDVDMulleter, or wx360 worked.

I managed to extract it, but a new problem arises, the game requires a systemupdate (it is in the root), but after patching with xex tool, it immediately starts debugging. Running 7978 overhere. How do I update the Dash?

 

For all other guys with some extractprobs:

At the moment, the best way is to use xboxbackupcreator's iso-browser
for extract. xdvd have issues with some games. Tested both versions,
the one from xdvdmulleter and the build in from schtrom with damnation
and battlestation pacific. At both i could only extract the mainfolder. Subfolders are only shown as some small filez.

I made an app a long time ago called "XboxImageBrowser" it was just the browser part of xbc. I never released it but I can clean it up.

 

Use xbox backup creator, it has an iso browser and can read/extract any iso.
