im trying to ftp into my decr 1000 I input my IP address and all I get when I try to connect I get is Connection attempt failed with "ECONNREFUSED - Connection refused by server" everything is hardwired on the lan
Probably your tool IP address has changed as it got a new DHCP address in your network and you are using the old saved IP information in Filezilla
The IP that I’m using is the one in the network control panel of the tool and in the debug control panel... now does the FTP transfer run over the DEV LAN port or the main LAN port
It needs to be the ps3 side not the dev side & you need the ip address of the ps3 from rebug toolbox.
As with anything, "Connection refused by server" is going to imply that either the service who's port you're trying to connect through isn't allowing the connection, but more likely that your firewall rules(those set by your router) are blocking access. Go into your NAT settings in your router and look for an option about port forwarding, you'll likely have to open port 20, 21 or both. I know nothing about your PS3 device, but it's likely unrelated to the actual issue.
There are 2 ports. One is LAN one is DEVLAN DEVLAN is to communicate with the CP board and PC. LAN is to do normal LAN stuff. The key thing to know is there are 2 different IPs when setup correctly. Additionally if you try connecting to the system without an FTP application it will fail. Enabling cobra with webman will allow it to do so on the XMB (which implies it has CFW), otherwise use a homebrew FTP application (Rebug Toolbox also allows FTP). The IP you should connect to is NOT the DEVLAN one. You can see the correct IP by checking network status. I figured this would be easy so I held off on posting for a bit but I guess it wasn't
I don't know about the DECR version, but webman was bundled with the other REBUG versions but then removed. REBUG also removes the modules if you go through a recovery boot, so it might be that it needs setting up again.
Install this specific version because webman is broken with anything after it on dect systems. the reason it wasnt included in that one is because they keep updating without doing proper checks to see if it works right on all systems, and they do a LOT of changes frequently at that. Use this version and nothing else. Alternatively Multiman because it works too https://github.com/aldostools/webMAN-MOD/releases/download/1.45.11/webMAN_MOD_1.45.11_Updater.pkg Again you can also use any ftp application like this (assuming you can run it) https://store.brewology.com/get/homebrew.php?id=7&fid=584
