PVM-20L4 owner reporting in. I suggest getting BNC-to-cinch adapters if you don't already have them, they'll make things much easier if you change consoles often.
My main vintage gaming monitor, the Ikegami TM20-80R, a 20" shadow mask monitor with a manufacturing date of May 2005. I don't know how many hours the tube has on it but it's probably low as it is in fantastic condition with a wonderful picture, shown here displaying Mega Man II on an NES with NESRGB and NESRGB-IGR/NES-IO modifications installed. I could take the handles off the front but I leave them on as they're really useful for routing controller cables away from getting in the way of the screen. And the monitor I used before the Ikegami, a 14" Sony BVM-14G5U aperture grille/Trinitron based monitor with a manufacturing date of 2001.
I like that Ikegami! That's a cool control panel. Mine was manufactured October 2003. Where did you come across yours?
I have two here: PVM 2950Q, yeah 29 inches and a german 20 inches that´s on tate here. Not the best picture but you get the idea:
I can't find any professional monitors locally here in Louisiana, so I pretty much had to wait on eBay patiently until a decent deal turned up. Luckily, the Ikegami monitor was shipped in proper packaging and arrived from across the country in excellent condition. It cost me like $200, but it was worth it to me.
