Yep, they do use Bluetooth. My phone picked it up while looking for my printer to sent a picture to it. It came up as an unknown device. At first I had no idea what it was until I thought about takingthe batteries out of the Wii remote. Then the phone couldn't find it. Yakumo
Dude somebody HAS to make an API to use the Wiimote as a mouse, it would be the killer apt for HTPCs or playing a PC FPS in a big screen. Is there any tools for doing that?
If you don't pay over the odds, it shouldn't be as much as a Wiimote. I've played FPS games on it, though, and if that's what you're after then I'd have to recommend you avoid it. Not sure if the Wiimote is much better on a PC, but either way I have a feeling mouse+keyboard is going to be the best way to play FPS games for a while yet.
Dunno, in a couch in front of the Tv it may the most confortable choice for FPS. That or the lapboard, if it was released...
Comfort vs accuracy. Honestly, just have a go on one, you'll see what I mean; "comfort" isn't exactly the way I'd describe the cramps I got from holding it tightly when I played it, and it's certainly not as accurate. Much akin to the Metroid Prime: Hunters problems I had, that game is painful to play for any extended period of time. Hopefully the Wii version won't suffer the same.
my wiimote works with my PC. Excellent for powerpoint presentations in universities. PS: I m using it for scrolling as we speak, in studying!
