Promo codes for one of my awful apps.

Got some promo codes here for one of my god awful iPhone soundboards; Pocket Sonic.

I made this a year ago in about an hour. I've just released an update which is still in review by Apple. (the update isn't much better, see http://twimfy.tumblr.com for details).

Here are 24 promo codes for the original version, I would love it if you could take the time to use one even if you delete the app afterwards, I want to see what effect promotional purchases have on app rankings and statistics if any.

It would also be great if you could try and keep the app long enough so it can be updated to version 1.1 when it is released.

Ok, second lot of code, these are for Pocket Naked Gun. Before you download this, please be aware that this app is horribly broken, a lot of the sounds don't work. Again this has been fixed but I'm awaiting the update. It's not. This app was made using the armv6 architecture, iPad requires armv7.

How do you use these codes? On the phone / iPod and iTunes all I can se is a pay 115yen option. I don't want to click on that to see if it then gives me a place to enter a code because I'll probably end up paying for it.

edit: after the updates were complete, I found the App on my iPhone. Awesome

The update has less but better quality sounds. It should be out in a few days.

I'll be updating it again soon with even more sounds, a much much better interface as the updated one isn't great either and I'll integrate some youtube videos too.

I gave the app a try. Nice quality sound but like others have said, mayne it would be a good idea to list the effcts in to sections such as speach, music, sonic effects, enemy effects and so on.

 

I wanted to get the Alan Suger one but it requires 4.1 BOO. So I'll get that when I get home since my phone is 4.0 but my ipod is 4.1 jailbroken :thumbsup: anyway, I'll use the code PA4E9RT7RYM3

Yeah it needs a damn good update. I just did a quick re-hash to fix some of the broken buttons.

I'm focusing more on iCounter-Strike and another project at the moment. Pocket Sonic sold very little until about a month ago where it's popularity has soared, which is really surprising as it's soooo shoddy. I made it when I was still learning.

I'm not the best at graphical design so it's more functionality over appearance at the minute.
