Yeah yeah, this is a little old (introduced at AOU2009) but I just noticed it today while surfing youtube (was looking for the new elevator action arcade game).

An arcade game with blocks/legos. Why didn't anybody think of this sooner?

Anybody in japan play this yet?

 

Never commercialized as far as I know, but the "active" blocks idea has been around for awhile.

 

Looks like a Lemmings rip-off, of sorts.

 

I became a big fan of this game when I saw the trailer, but nothing much has happened with it (sadly). I was hoping for a release in the West.

 

I played it!! Only last week believe it or not. Very cool idea but seems to be popular with the kiddies only. I was playing it for my son :nod:

Seems like something an adult would just kick-ass at, but have fun doing so at the same time.

cool looking arcade (?) but the blocks can be stolen so easily in most places

 

yeah I saw one of these in a Gamecenter near jr kaihin makuhari station but sadly didnt have any spare yen to try it.
