So I was taking a look at some archives talking about arcade machines I used to play as a kid. One of them was Propcyle by Namco. It was controlled using a sort of exercise bike and the faster you pedaled the faster your in-game pedal-powered aircraft would go, there was even a fan that would blow air at you while you played the faster you went. Now the question I have is this, does anyone know where I could find one in the UK? I don't mean to buy, I'm just wondering if there's an arcade, or bowling alley or something that might still have one I could go see, you know, for nostalgia's sake. If anyone has any info on this, I'd appreciate it.
Considering there are few arcades left in the UK and most of them have few video games left, you are HIGHLY unlikely to find a nearly 20 year old monstrously big machine (save for Sega Rally, Daytona, Time Crisis, House of the Dead) in the wild. The exception might be Namco Funscape, but I don't remember seeing one.
Ah well, thanks anyway guys. I figured this was probably going to be a long search, guess I'll just keep looking.
It's similar here in Australia, many arcades here just have ticket based games. Ones that flip money really about it.
I used to love this game, so much fun! They used to have a machine locally but the arcades are all shut down now, it's mostly just slots.
