Properly treat rusted shield plates

    It's more about following rules or getting sued or even forbidden of selling the equipment. (In USA anything electronic that doesn't comply to the FCC rules is forbidden to be sold)

    The shielding rusts because it is low grade steel. The shielding can be removed no issue. I've had boards working fine that look worst than this; and after all, the board is hidden inside the console so it's appearance doesn't really matter.

    You can just take the Sheild to a metal worker and have them bend up a new one.......
