    Hi all,
I have acquired a prototype of Castlevania Vampire's Kiss. Problem is it is PAL and I live in Canada. So I need to figure out how to play it, the best method.
I know that I can mod a US SNES to play it. But I don't have the proper electronic stores around to purchase the parts. My local Radio Shack does not carry components. So I'm left with purchasing a PAL SNES.... I'd rather not. Or buying a convertor. But what convertor is the best? If anyone could help me I'd greatly appreciate it.
    Thanks

Well it was released.... It's a regular PAL SNES game. But this might count as a rare game because it is a proto. Or an import because it's PAL. If the mods want to they can definitely move it wherever they see fit.

Yeah, you have a point, its a proto, then maybe Rare and Obscure gaming. But I dont mean to be an asshole, I just thought that general gaming inst the right place. Anyway, I would go with Honey Bee, it is a nice converter, serves me well atleast.

If you want to have a quick tip on something to check (changes in the game) atleast when you get the game up and running, try killing off the main char by dropping HP to zero.

Vampire's Kiss was one of those games that got smaller censorship changes.
In the Japanese (and probably the US version too), the char will turn red/bloody when he dies.
In the PAL version, he turns white, kinda ghosty, when he dies.

The Castlevania Dungeon has pictures of it here
