Awesome video ASSEMbler!! Have no idea where you find all this stuff, but it's very interesting. Thank you for the video , Also liked and subbed your channel
Awesome video man, nice find. Although.. I felt like I was watching a slow romantic porno with that music in the background, haha.
Can't believe a week has passed and I missed this!!! If you plan on letting that go Kev please get in touch...
Be curious to know if it does work on retail. That board design looks pretty damned simple but I can't for the life of me find the datasheet on the chip. Probably similar to the mx25L4005 whose datasheet I can find. Assuming it does, I might be able to prototype a massive GameCube memory card. Though I don't have a clue how the GameCube enumerates the space on a memory card... Anyone? Curious to know what the letting on the traces would say if it was legible. Seems someone tried labeled the traces in the PCB building software but didn't intend for them to be legible on the board. Just happened to get cut off in sections where there was no metal for the lettering to show up on.
Fascinating. I´ve been all over you tube videos, and it´s amazing the amount of great items you have access to. Keep bringing them.
Erm ape? It's the exact same layout and design as a normal GC memory card, same chip. The writing is on the normal MC's too, it's for R1-R6 and C1-C4. The chip (as used in all production GC memory cards) is an MX25L4001MC-60A. My GC memory card emulator has an altera chip in though if that helps with what you'd need, I've also got a (quite dodgy) 128MB GC memory card (unofficial) that's got 2 toshiba memory chips inside.
I just bought 12 of these recently. they didnt catch my attention much because of other items in the lot. are these pretty rare to find?
I wasnt going to use them with the NPDP's lol, I was just going to sell them with it. guess I dont want people doing that though (didnt think about that), so I guess I'll just sell them separately.
