I was wondering if there are any known copies of a prototype version of god of war 1 or 2 floating around, or that are for sale because i'd pay a lot of money for one. what are some things in the prototype games that didn't make the final game?

The ones I have seen require a dongle. So if one is needed make sure you get it if you buy these games.

I have a preview copy (1 dvd) and review copy (2 dvd) but they don't require a dongle. (both GoW2). So there are also copys out there without need for a dongle.

I'll have to pull mine out. Its atleast a preview could be earlier but both GOW1 and GOW2 came with zip drive looking dongles to boot them.

Have you verified whether it's a proper master disc? I think Loser's tool can do this, or his sector viewer.

I don't have to check the discs; I'm 100% certain the are legit. But thanks for the tip.
