Hey guys! I'm new here, but I'm well known as Armageddon Potato across the web(NintendoAge, etc!)

I came across a prototype PS3 console a while ago, but I'm not sure how to get past this screen:

Here's a picture of the console itself:

How can I get past this screen? Any help is greatly appreciated!

Also I may not be keeping this for my collection, so it may be up for grabs if anyone is interested!

Armegedon_Potato: This seems to be a prototype of a 3rd-gen PS3 judging by the silver trim and the firmware requirement (CECHK, maybe).

It should be able to boot into Factory Service Mode. Proceed with caution in any event, there might be data worth preserving on the HDD.

The idea of keeping on topic is within itself a deviation from the topic. An imperative command like this will only lead to procrastination.

    With that said...

    (haha im just kidding)

It's better just to remove HDD, connect it to PC and make an image - i don't think that prototype unit got 2Tb HDD :) 20-60Gb is more likely, so it will be easy to do with dd or any other tool that allows you to dump raw hdd image.
