"It Only Does Everything" (So Sony seems to claim!) Since we have a topic for Project Natal I thought it would be a good idea to have a thread for the Move. Move has been revealed to be coming out on: NA 19 September 2010 EU 15 September 2010 JP October 2010 (Can't remember the date) Pricing Motion Controller will be US$49.99 or €39.99 Navigation Controller will cost US$29.99 or €29.99 Motion Controller will be available as a bundle with a PlayStation Eye and a copy of Sports Champions for US$99.99 or €59.99 Really good pricing i have to say and for once us in Europe wont be getting shafted on the price! Game wise Sony are really pushing games that are coming out but also ones that are available already. For a complete list click the link below http://www.nextgn.com/2010/06/16/playstation-move-software-lineup-revealed/ Now all thats out the way whats peoples reactions? Good? Bad? Or are you sitting on the fence like me first before you make up your mind on buying one.
Um, how is this thread official? Are you some kind of Sony spy or something? I feel that the people who have not bought a Wii because it's not HD will be excited, but I'm sure many people will be like 'meh'. I certainly feel little towards both the Move and Kinect - I've owned a Wii since not long after launch, and I feel that once the novelty wore off it's not kept my attention, sadly.
I only see a handful of games in that list that could be improved with move, disappointing. Sony better implement this on every FPS and TPS game available for the PS3.
So the Motion and Navigation Controllers are sold separately? I wonder what can I do with the nav one by itself...
They're both meh at best. The move looks like a kids toy though. If I had to use a motion sensor the move would last on my list simply because of it's looks. Wii in first place because holding something feels better than nothing.
Sony has said the navigation controller is interchangeable with the DS3/Sixaxis - it is not required for gameplay.
