Why would anybody buy the Move? I still can't stop thinking of it as the "PS3 dildo wand". Sony did not name it when they announced it, so the internet kindly named it for them.
IMO, it's way better than the Wii. It's more comfortable as well as more accurate. Played the crap out of mine today.
I saw the TV ad, and I laughed my arse off. It still looks like a dildo, so maybe it will be only good for one thing, and erotic games.

I tried an in-store demo and yes, it's probably a little better than Wii Motion Plus but it's still basically the same thing. You still wave and shake but now you look even more of a twat because you're holding the dildo. No matter what the fan boys may think, Move is not such a massive jump over the Wii Motion Plus. Yes, it's better as I said but not that much. Take it from me, a veteran Wii owner and player. You'll soon get bored and want to go back to sitting on your arse with a standard controller. That's why I now own a 360 and nope, I won't be getting Kinect. You can't really play a game without holding something physical. Driving a car with the Wii remote was bad enough, using the plastic wheel attachment was worse. Using nothing is going to be unimaginable. Yakumo
I agree, driving with that wii wheel in the air is just weird and doesn't work for me, then when I saw the kinect demo with the girl driving without anything I already knew it would be even worse fail. Especially driving games, you need your steering wheel firmly attached to your desk (or whatever) and some crazy forcefeedback otherwise I prefer just using a joypad.
I tried it out the other day my friend got 4 remotes and two navigation controllers. Let's just say it worked extremely well once we moved his PS3 into the living room. In his room from the couch to the tv is about 6 ft so it was not working well at all then. When close up the aiming was terrible and it jumped all around. Once we got the space to play it though it worked exceptionally well. I must say I really enjoyed the archery and disc golf. The disc golf was definitely and accurate representation since the disc always curved way off to the right just like when I really go play disc golf. :crying:
I bought one for the nipper, mostly for Eye Pet support as he loves that and playing that game with the stupid card thing is annoying.
