I have owned a few PSPs over the years. The first order of business with each was to install CFW, set up a high capacity MS and have tons of emulated consoles with complete ROM sets on hand. Though I have kept up with the Vita, I have yet to buy one. Now, however, the Borderlands 2 special edition unit is down to $200 and is tempting. I have read about ways to load a custom flavor of halfbyte loader or similar. I am not a fan of piracy. I just want to see what my chances are with setting up a few of the PSP-native emus through some workaround. It appears that most exploits require a specific title and max firmware revision. Of course, the games are quickly patched or removed when the word gets out. So, with a newer, off-the-shelf Vita, are there any options, or should I keep checking with my gaming brethren for a decent used Vita still able to load vHBL or similar? Thanks! Jay PS - I am going to perform my own due diligence via forum search in a bit. Just curious if there were any fans that had pointers.
