Seems like someone figured out how to create a microSD adapter for the Vita. Source: https://www.reddit.com/r/vitahacks/comments/6kcvga/ps_vita_gamecard_to_microsd_adapter_poc/
There were a number of ways to go about this. Glad they chose the one we just understand better. -Use the Vita game card port -Use the Second port (fat models, unused port) -Use the Vita port or MicroUSB or USB port on the Vita fat/slim/pstv -Use the 3G port (fat) -Use the memory card port
@PixelButts do you know if its possible to use the internal 3G port and the game port simultaneously? I don't know enough on the matter, but I'd like to have an internal card, and then an easy to swap external.
It should be just fine, the internal port just uses the USB port on the header from the 3g card to connect a SD card. Then using software you can map the SD card to use as storage in the vita. So the normal game port is untouched and can be used for anything.
Actually making the adapter is the most easy part. It will not work out of the box, and need the 3.60 firmware too run henkaku. And be coded too work Edit: I should check the video first before commenting xD
https://www.elotrolado.net/hilo_pro...er-un-lector-de-micro-sd-en-la-psvita_2229693 here is a tutorials for game card and 3g i think game card method more better than 3g but one problem, we must cut ps vita game card? i think we cant solder sd to a working game card because it can cause problems
Finally got a few mins to build my card. I decided to make it more functional. STL file available on my Thingiverse page https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2465751
