PS1 10 Million Model RARE PAL Version For Trade (Before eBay)

I have decided to trade / sell my 10 Million Model PS1. It is in real nice condition. I have taken more pictures and they will be added later.

I got the PS1 from a lady who won it from a local Television show when they were put out. There were only 100 of these made for each region worldwide. The regions were The USA, Japan, European (PAL). They were apparantely only given out to top Sony executives and as prizes in some contests.

This is a true collectors piece. I have contacted a couple of people who actually have one. They say that mine is a little unusal as mine has 2 controllers. The package consists of the following

PS1 10 million model (PAL) Midnight Blue Silky Texture
2 Controllers Midnight Blue Silky Texture
All the cables
All the related paperwork (No box)

This might be your one and only chance to secure one of these for your PS1 collection. They are not very common as stated before.

I am looking for PSP games/Mem sticks, NDS games, Nintendo Game and Watches, PS1 RPG's, PS2 Rpg's. DC Games. Anything else that might be interesting. All games must be new and sealed. If not then they must be in mint condition.

NO sales in this forum please!

 

Is it boxed or console only ?

According to the Playstation museum a PAL model unboxed went for $40 not too long ago.

the PAL ones are way cheaper than the NTSC ones...the NTSC ones i've seen were about 1,000$

Yes, New Zealand is a Pal region. He even mentioned it in his post.

 

Value on these units has been dropping over the past few years. There just isn't as much interest among collectors for PlayStation variants. A NTSC unit was up on eBay with a starting bid of $700 this month and didn't garner a single bid. Just not worth the cash for a different colored case. The days of getting more than $1000 for one of these are long gone.

Thanks for the info guys. Sounds like a reasonably decent buy anyway. I'll see if i can trade it or at the worst, put it on eBay UK for $1 reserve. haha!

So does that mean the white VideoCD Playstation has fallen in price? What would I be looking at?

 

I'd assume that since the VideoCD Playstation, does something more then what a normal Playstation does (right?), it wouldn't fall/fall as much. If it's just a varient it's drop would be based on the rariety I guess (though I also don't really follow console casing)

Also, Germany should be PAL as it's European so I'd presume.

eBay UK sounds like the best place then. I am still getting info on it. I finally found one other person who has a boxed mint PAL system that he got from eBay a couple of years ago. He paid $1100US for it. He said that i was the only other person that he had contact with so far, who owns a PAL system. A little flattering, kinda makes me consider keeping it. Then again, i could get other things that i could use (I'm a Nintendo fan)... haha!

I have no illusions about the value of my system though. It is not boxed so that depletes it's value right away. I'm leaning more towards trading it now. I would prefer it went to a good home as well.

 

If anyone on these forums is interested in selling a boxed 10 Million Edition PS1, please let me know, as it's one of about six PlayStations I need to complete my collection. Thanks.

The person i got my PS1 10 Million model from threw out the box! It has the paperwork and 2 controllers instead of the one. I have also given it a clean since i took these pictures. I got fingerprints on it and they show in the pics. Here they are
