    Hello,This was my initial post.

After ordering and receiving Mayumi v4 from Bad_Ad84 I opened up the system to install the chip. I was expecting a PU-22 board. But it was a PU-18.

So I followed the PU-18 diagram to install the chip. I triple check all the solder point. It was ok.

After checking, I put back the system together. Upon booting a burned or original game, I got this screen.

The system menu is all in english.

Please Advice/Help. Did I got the wrong modchip?

So its had the motherboard swapped. Thats a US motherboard, which is why the chip doesnt work properly

A 7503 should have a US bios, but Jap mechcon (so you need jap modchip)

That mechcon is a USA one, therefore the board has been changed.

You need a Mayumi v4, but a USA one - not the Jap one you would need if it was actually a 7503 (and what I sent you, because of the model number).

Probably better in the long one in that you'll be able to boot PAL and US originals too.

Well a proper 7503 would too, as it has the US bios.

I just received Bad_Ad84's Mayumi v4 mod chip (USA version). I replaced the previous chip. After testing all backups and originals, all is working fine! Even Anti-mod chip games like Wild Arms 2 boots fine.

Thanks for all the help Bad_Ad84!
