[PS1] On the hunt for Mayumi V3 & Mayumi v5.1 hex's

Hey everyone. I've decided on modding a SCPH-1001 and im looking for the Mayumi V3 hex (JAP, USA, EUR if possible). I know that the installation diagrams are nowhere to be found but im willing to find these installation points and whip up the installation diagrams for it. I do have all the NTSC-U PS1 models here across the room from me so i can go through each one (SCPH-5501, SCPH-7501, SCPH-9001 and SCPH-101, SCPH-1001 is on the way). I am in the process on waiting for some 16F84's to test out the Mayumi v2.1. I'm also looking for the Mayumi v5.1 (JAP, USA, EUR) just for testing and whatnot.

Why do you want V3 for the 1001? From what I know, its the same as v4 support wise - but just not as good. There is no reason to use V3 over V4.

V2.1 is the interesting one.

 

V2.1 is going to be intresting to test, i agree. Also im trying to collect them as well just for building a collection and preservation .

about Mayumi 5.1, is it better then the mayumi v4? im surprised to only see v4 and not a v5, is there something wrong with the v5?

IIRC, jinn was saying from a post awhile back stating that the Mayumi v3 is the best for the scph-1001 but he couldn't find any installation diagrams

Ahh, i see. I know your busy but if you have free time would you be able to send me them? You'd be a god if you can help me.

I'm going post results on the mayumi v2.1, when i get everything in mail hopefully by the end of next week if not sooner

Thank you , but last and not least, would you have the V3 hex as well?, i know its kinda useless if it doesnt support the scph-1001 but i wouldnt mind having it around just in case
