i just installed ia onechip and it works but only works with pal backups and proper pal games but imports do not work what points are used for patching the bios so i can checked i have checked all points and look ok after messing up 3 ps1s (all part of leaning) im gettin some where used this for points http://www.chipinstallation.dk/images/Onechip-stealth.jpg
If my memory serves me right, theres 2 versions of ONEChip. The newer version of the ONEChip does patch the bios for import games but the older one doesn't. Do you buy the chip or did you program it yourself?. But we also need to see a pic of your install, it could be possible you have a cold joint
Ok, it should be the newer version. Its possible that 3 and 4 aren't soldered properly (Those points are the bios patching points that let you play imports). I could help you diagnose the problem more but i need to see a picture of your installation

right sorted it i solder point 4 wrong it was late lool and all works imports proper games and back ups but some times when it starts up i get like a ghost effect on the start up screen but by the time game loads it gos back to normal any idea why i get it ?
picture of the problem i got it don't do it all the time and when it does it stays on for 20 30 secs just timed the memory card and cd player screen then go back normal
pic is a bit crap but look at the top and bottom of diamond and there is like a blue line in the o of sony
