apart from universal and debug PSX is there any other revision with S-video port at the back?

Also is it SCPH-3001 for universal PSX?

    cheers

Yes, apparently the first Japanese consumer models (SCPH-1000) have a S-video port, just like the PAL SCPH-1002 have RCA ports (and I guess the US models, too). But it was taken out in subsequent revisions so we have to shell out 25e for an official S-video lead :smt019

    Oh yeah!

My first Playstation had the leads! Too bad I destroyed during the escapade of my first-ever-mod-chip-install... = (
I remember thinking my next one was weird cause of the flat-connector cable...
