PS2 backup media recommendations?

Hey guys, Any DVD-R media recommendations for PS2 backups? I've used Verbatim in the past for all my backup needs across Sega-land, but was wondering if someone has different recommendations for PS.

Any particular reason why you recommend them over Verbatim?

 

I believe at one point, they may still; Taiyo Yuden manufactured Verbatim discs.

Not sure though.

 

i've had really good results with kodak inkjet printable discs.
they have a nice thick coating on the printable side which makes for good reading, i've used a few brands that are so transparent that the laser might actually read through
them

They make their own media and it's of high quality.

If you get Verbatim, make sure they are AZO.
