Hello everyone, some of you may remember I bought the following on Yahoo a couple of years ago: Here is the first part consisting of all the black&white pages (mostly background artworks): http://lorezan.free.fr/bleachhyPS2/BleachHanatareshiYabou_Docs1.pdf The second part, almost all color pages (textures & models placement, interactive areas and background design): http://lorezan.free.fr/bleachhyPS2/BleachHanatareshiYabou_Docs2.pdf Please right-click and use" save as" on the link, thanks. Kev, could you mirror the files on the server? Thanks.
That's pretty cool. What I don't understand is: what's the need for the detailed interiors? It's a series of fighting games, right? Why would you need to design hallways for a fighting game?
You are right, big mistake on my part, the artworks (wich came with a review version of Bleach: Heat The Soul) are from the PS2 game: Bleach: Hanatareshi Yabou, released in Feb. 2006 in Japan.
Ah, I see. Yeah I was wondering, do they fight in a bedroom? That'd probably be a first for a fighting game. It's too bad this doesn't seem to be getting much attention. I just happened to stumble upon it myself. It's a really cool find.
I assume the game would have been censored for domestic violence or something if that was the case I think the entire Game Design Documents section doesn't get much attention, not sure if it is the lack of content or the fact that it contains scanned artworks and reading materials is putting people off, competing with youtube and all... I also have two booklets containing what I guess are the scripts and dialogues for the PS2 and a PSP Bleach game, all in japanese obviously, I don't know yet if I will scan them or not, I'm not sure it will interest the people around...
