You don't create two different threads. Hell I'd have 5 if I posted each thread for each system. Stop flooding the boards, and keep everything in one thread.
You've already got a history of posting new threads/posts when a simple edit will do and this is like the 3rd or 4th time you've been warned about it.
That's not the point. What they're getting at is something I was saying to you earlier. You have to stop starting new threads over and over. You're not even choosing something interesting you're just picking categories and going through the motions. 1. What games do you hate? 2. What games do you like? 3. What JRPGS do you like? 4. What PS2 games do you like? 5. Look at the PS3 games I have. 6. Look at the PS2 games I have. 7. What 32X games do you like? Ok not accurate but it's all we've seen. You don't HAVE to make threads it's not a requirement and this also isn't Facebook messenger, we're not all here to just have general gaming chit chat. And don't take this personally but because you're young you're from the PS1/PS2 generation at best, now there's nothing wrong with that, ASSEMbler welcomes new and younger members but this isn't GameFAQ's or IGN, we tend to focus more on rare or older stuff here, or gaming media or theory. PS2 stuff, well it's mainstream and with the exception of a few rare and interesting titles it's not that interesting. I could go to my local thrift store with £50 and outnumber your collection 10 fold in half an hour, but don't take that as a criticism, collecting is cool and always encouraged whatever your favourite system is, but if you're gonna show what you've got, keep it to one thread. Lastly. You absolutely must use punctuation and capital letters, I apologise if you have dyslexia or something but it's a must, not just on forums but in real life too, surely you should know that? Your posts are very hard to read and while you're trying to engage conversation with forum members, unbeknown to you, there will be people here who will completely ignore you because you write like a child. Fair? no! But that's life I'm afraid. I absolutely do not mean to offend you in any way but think before you post, ask yourself if anyone is going to give a shit about what you're about to say, consider wether you could find the info you're looking for by using the search function. It's not a race for post counts, it's not a shouting competition, it's a mostly an intellectual forum for discussion and the sharing of the interesting and unique. Enjoy your time here and get involved but, you're starting to piss people off, people have made it known and you've soldiered on regardless. Let's not get ridiculous here, everyone is allowed to show their collection and everyone is expected to make some mistakes in the early days of signing up in a forum. Just keep it at one thread... maybe put everything together and ask a moderator to delete the other thread/s? Problem solved.
Apologies were sent back and forward between the OP and I. I'll admit I was being a bit of a dick but then there was some truth in there I think as well.
Bit harsh I'm probably guilty of sometimes waffling or not adding anything profound to the mix, truth is there is different scales of collecting and I wouldn't ever think to be so harsh to someone about something they appear to be proud of would you not be disappointed if you wanted to get into a "club" and everyone there is just like eeeewwww I could go out with £10000 and get a collection 10 times what you have people have different incomes I figured someone speaking respectfully would realise that. Everyone starts somewhere and I'm sure the 10/20 years ago people would snigger at people hoarding snes games and thinking its stupid and how anyone could go pick them up from a local second hand shop, who is laughing now when some of those games sell for a couple of hundred each, he could be the you of the ps2 collectors groups in the future if such things exist, let him do his thing as long as he respects the rules is it not enough to just say final warning keep similar topics to a single thread or you will be banned or something the way I see it is I get informed here about rare items and maybe one day I will find something that is super rare like a truly one of a kind item, now imagine I had been told to push off as I don't have any super rare items already, and that super duper rare item ended up in a skip or something, lost forever because I was disheartened by people being elitist just be grateful that new people are getting interested in this kind of thing, you can't have eyes in every boot sale / market and there's been a few market traders that have said to me they used to throw out old nes/snes games and that as nobody was really interested, wouldn't you prefer that didn't happen, I know I would. You never know what gems have been lost to land fills because there wasn't a collector there that week Rant over but I really did think this forum was bigger than this kind of childish behaviour.
well, every forum has room for all kinds of people, and there's a lot of users here, so cant please everyone i guess.. i like my own practice of just staying silent if i have nothing constructive to say. Thus my post count isnt 32,532, but yeah, that's about it. while i personally dont like OP's way of making lots of threads for seemingly every question that pops into his mind, i just dont let it bother me, there's plenty of threads for me to read here aside those. and to be fair, some of his threads were actually sparking some legitimate discussions, so that's a good thing. Dont't like all of htem ? well, just read the ones you DO like. also, OP, dont get disheartened by few bad apples, this is actually a very nice community, but every community has those people who will rub you the wrong way. once upon a time i posted a thread in here showing off a mod i did to a ps2, and guess what, some retard sent it to kotaku to get featured on the "worst mods ever" article. well, fuck him is pretty much what i had to say about the matter, i like my ps2, and if he didnt, that's his problem.
I feel that even though OP might make a few forum mistake opening multiple threads, and showing off his current collection, we shouldn't have judge or state that this section is only for those elite collectors. Everyone has small beginnings, i believe you and i also have been through this stage. Lets hope that this incident serve as a reminder that despite Nationality, cashflow or even age , we are a supportive community dedicated to video games collection. Student or elite collectors, assemblergamers welcome you.
