PS2 Dev - coding, audio, video and graphics

    I'm using Codewarrior for PS2. Is this the ideal program to use and build inside?

    Also, what do people tend to use for audio - do you use your own soundbank and generally compose MIDI files and then convert them? And what do people think of Lightwave or 3DSMax for 3d modelling, do they convert well to PS2 format files?

    LightWave and 3D Studio MAX I believe have plugins.

    I have the PS1 plugins (comes in the PSY-Q SDK).

    Maya has it built in I think...

    I'm still messing about Ya-Basic lol
    gonna be a while till i'm confident coding properly for the ps2 with tool-chains.

    If you want something more advanced than Yabasic, there's Basic Studio from Artdink.

    You get them from the PSY-Q libraries / SDK...

    The manuals and the tools are in japanese, it only takes time to figure out the different menus if you can't read japanese.

    There's a Japanese-only PS2 dev studio in the form of what a retail game would look like. I have no idea how indepth it is, but isn't the Linux kit, it's consumer-oriented set of programming tools, could be relatively powerful though.

    Forgot the name, anyone remember it?
