Are there other PS2 emulators? I have a file which I downloaded from here: http://www.nyaatorrents.org/?page=download&tid=9659 (the game itself) http://i283.photobucket.com/albums/kk318/Anime_Fan_Otaku/PS2game.jpg http://i283.photobucket.com/albums/kk318/Anime_Fan_Otaku/Module.jpg http://i283.photobucket.com/albums/kk318/Anime_Fan_Otaku/DATA.jpg
Did you read the guide (http://forums.pcsx2.net/thread-2298.html), especially section 2 on BIOS Configuration? You need to dump the BIOS of a retail machine before you can use the emulator.
I tried dumping a BIOS in the PS2. It crashes instead. http://i283.photobucket.com/albums/kk318/Anime_Fan_Otaku/1.jpg http://i283.photobucket.com/albums/kk318/Anime_Fan_Otaku/2.jpg http://i283.photobucket.com/albums/kk318/Anime_Fan_Otaku/3.jpg
I'm sorry but the BIOS is the ROM from THE REAL PS2 console which contains the SYSTEM OS. The emulator need the SYSTEM OS from ROM to be able to run the emulation. You can't dump the BIOS from the emulator itself if it has no BIOS to begin with. You either have to find a PS2 BIOS or dump from a REAL PS2 console. I'm surprised that you did not understand that, as Silverbull was quite clear about it. Again: The BIOS file comes from the REAL PS2.
Pretty sure thre is a program you run on the actual PS2 to dump the BIOS files you need to a USB stick. Atleast that's what I remember when I was messing around with that stuff.
Here it is: http://www.pcsx2.net/downloads.php?p=tool It supports dumping to either USB or a PC (over naplink/ps2link). I'd suggest to dump to a PC, as USB support is still marked experimental.
