PlayStation 2 EyeToy camera has 3 different models, whether they have any differences? Such as the newest model, the better the image quality? EyeToy camera models: SLEH-00030 (oldest model) SLEH-00031 SCEH-0004 (newest model)
Just for the record: my SLEH-00030 came packed in the PAL Eye-Toy Chat box. Maybe there are just 3 different Eye-Toy bundles in total too...?
I've got the second model. I've used it on the PS3 once and it looked really good. I looks better than my old Xbox LIVE Vision Camera for the Xbox 360 lol. Maybe the differences are just different PCBs and different components?
The main difference is that the black models (SLEH-00030/SLEH-00031) are made by Logitech and the silver model (SCEH-0004) is made by Namtai. All 3 are compatible with all EyeToy games.
