I was wondering if anyone knew of a way I might extract audio from PS2 games, specificly Jak 3. I've tried a program called MFAudio which has been recommended on several message boards, but it was unable to deal with Jak 3's audio compression.

In the event you don't have the game, it has a folder called 'VAG' in its main directory, which has all the audio (at the very least voices) for the game. Each file is called 'VGWAD' with an extension like ENG or GER to indicate what language it is. I have a feeling that it is some form of game-specific format, but seeing as their was never an OST released for the game, this is the only way I can think of to get the audio.
