I was planning on fanmodding my PS2 with a fan of the same size.
However, the super-scientific test of running the stock and replacement fan with 12V and feeling how much air they push resulted in my replacement (Sunon HA60151V4-000U-999) being quite a bit weaker in comparison.
Now i know that the system regulates fan speed via voltage depending on temperature (and HDD usage) and i wanted to know if there was any (existing) way of monitoring either temps or fan speed/voltage (possibly combined with something to stress the hardware and push temps) to check if i could still use the replacement without any drawbacks (having the replacement run at higher speeds wouldnt be an issue, as the stock fan at 5V is louder then the sunon at 12V)
