PS2 Linux Kit for sale

Alright, someone had been interested in this, but wasn't going to have money until the end of the month (March, that is), but I haven't heard from him for a while. He still has first dibs on this, but if I don't get a reply to an e-mail in a week or so, it's free game.

I'm selling, as the title implies, my PS2 Linux kit. This is the US kit that I got right when they started selling them about 2 years ago. It is complete, with the keyboard, mouse, LAN adaptor, HDD, discs, and monitor cable still there. All items except the monitor cable still have their original boxes and packaging.

I had bought this because I wanted to get into programming for the PS2, but for a few reasons - unavailability of ANY good game programming help ANYWHERE and the fact that this is just a glorified Yaroze kit, crippled to run only on other machines with the Linux kit - I've decided that this isn't something I really need. I had installed Linux on the drive and did a little fiddling and configuring, and the drive will ship with this installation on it. It is currently configured for TV output, but you're more than welcome to do whatever the hell you want with it. Please note that the monitor cable only (for some goddamned retarded reason) works with monitors that use Sync-On-Green technology. Everything here, though used, is in excellent condition.

Please note that you will need about 6.5 MB free on a PS2 8MB memory card for installation files for the kit, and that the Linux DVDs are NTSC region.

I'm asking $200 plus the cost of shipping for this whole shebang. It may sound a bit high, but I'm now needing to try and find a new car, and could use the extra cash. I'm going to be fairly inflexible on the pricing, but if anyone has any really awesome trade, I might be able to swing something like that.

Questions and whatnot are most welcome, and I'll let anyone interested know what the final status is on the deal when I find out.

There you go. Only thing not featured is the monitor cable, which is off in my box of assorted cable crap, but is still in excellent condition. Sorry about the quality of the pic, the Palm Pilot camera is arse...
