ps2 mobo 4.0 probs with v7 with gap bios

Ps2 mobo 4.0 probs with v7 with gap bios
boot up nice with matrix 1.99 but will not read a dvd or cd
the console was tested before i modded i have checked my soldering aswell
the main board is GH22 2002 bios chip its a gap bios sony must have updated the bios to stop these any help one what i can do thanks.:thumbsup:

 

the matrix logo show because the bios have a good comunication whit the chip!!!

the f,g,h,i, is responsable of the comunication betwen the chip and the controler!!!!( read )

my sugention to you is, remove this wires and clean all solder point!!! (f,g,h,i,)

rewire this point and try again...

try an original dvd, original cd, if the instalation is good the console will read ok the original!!!

oh i fixed this problem on this console yeah the wires weren't soldered correctly on the top side of the board. works fine now
