Ps2 modchip advice scph 3001

    I recently bought a ps2 model scph 30001 that came with a network adapter and a clear grey stand for 32.00 shipped(it was an ok deal). After fixing a problem with it reading whilst in a vertical stand I decided I might want to modchip it.
    I was wondering what the best and easiest to install modchip for my ps2 is?


    Edit: My ps2 serial number begins with U1 and the date code is 0D





    (Forgive me for my horrible syntax as I'm very sleep deprived)

    ModBo 4 would be a cheap and cheerful chip to mod it with.
