I was reading up on naplink, and was wondering if anyone here had used it, and does it allow direct access to the ps2 memory card?
Naplink is a program developed by some ps2dev guys to be able to send stuff to a ps2 via a special Prolific pl2301 cable(same used in Sharkport). It requires a PS2 client CD and specific USB drivers for the pl2301 cable. Then you can send elf's etc to your ps2 via some pc software. Its quite slow, these days you are better off using ps2link, a network adaptor for ps2 to send data to a ps2, or if your lucky enough and your ps2 supports Ilink you can use Proview or Proview+ and a firewire cable. auMatt
Dear auMatt I would like to access PS2 memory card via my NB. How can I make sure my PS2 support Ilink (model number?)? My PS2 was 30000 series with 1 1394 port & 2 USB port. Do you know any way to access memory card via LAN, 1394 or USB? What kind of utility I need & the set-up procedure? Could you tell me, thanks?h: Max
hello, you can access the memory card with a utility called execftp, search for it on google. you'll need a way to load burn cd on your ps2, modchip or swap magic. Here's the info.txt :
Check ebay. Looku up a seller called videogamewholesaler, or something similar. He has tons of sharkports.
Go to PS2-Scene.org forums. They'll help you a lot in that part. Another good program is uLaunchElf 3.41
Thanks~unclejun I made it (memory card w/ hdloader & some *.elf). Yes, ExceFTP works & I can upload any save file & utility any time. By the way, Do you know about the usage of PS2 1394 port? I wonder if it can be used to download the screen shot or the media when playing game. Can I access the video of game to PC via 1394?
