    Got a HDD adapter because SMB wasn't playing well with Samba on the slim, ended up with this. Is it worth any more than a regular one? Seems to work fine with OPL so I don't think there's anything different in terms of hardware.

    I try to answer (iam not sure undestant the question).
    It work only with PS2 FAT and ide HDD. Format and install iso with WInhiip via an usb to ide adapter, and instal FHDB.

    The question is if it's worth anything more than a regular network adapter, I already have it set up for playing games.

    Those where also included with the Linux Kit iirc but worth wise im not sure, got mine from ebay for $10 :/
