i have a chance of buying a used PS2 Network Adapter that comes just with the adapter and Network Acess Disk

my question is: Are there any missing parts in this bundle? does the network adapter come with anyother software or screws/cables/etc?

the screws are build in and apart from the network access disc mine also came with eyetoy chat, but i think the servers are now down anyway.

so its everything you need to use it.

It's used for setting up the network (some games can change the network settings by themselves), if you have the newer disc, you should also have a free online game on it, Hardware Online Arena or something, I don't know if the servers are still up though...

Killzone online is fun, if you can find someone else playing it, the servers are empty most of the time.

If you get the network adapter + disc they don't include the required brackets to fit an harddisk drive. The kits that come bundled with HD do. You can get by without the bracket but the drive will kinda hang loose in the bay and will disconnect if you ever move your ps2.

the official ps2linux that died long ago, ff11, some downloadable content for socom, more save space and of course, warez and emus.

Killzone online is quite interesting and amusing, and there's still 4 or 5 nearly full and low ping servers when i log in (last loggin was last week), but the damn community somehow seems attracted to the same one fucking map; park. (i mean, it's good, but a little diversity is always better)

btw, you don't actually need the network disk. Any new online enable game will do it for you.

Unless you don't have one, then you WILL need the disk. Also, the HD brackets really aren't necessary unless you use an odd drive that has a poor connection. The HD I have in mine is in there tightly without any mounting brackets.

I just wanted to add that RPG Maker 3 supports the hard drive too, although you have to format it using other software (like the FFXI interface.) Not extremely cool or anything, but it is another official use.

Just make sure you don't have one that is banned on the PSN.
