Ps2 promo disks

is there any value in ps2 promo disks ? Any collectable ones to look out for ?

 

depends on the title..resident evil promos are the most expensive ones i think

 

Ok. Thanks. Got stuff like vib ribbon ps1, shadow of the collosus, capcom generations. Around 90 bits n bobs. Havent had a good look yet.

I saw a load in a charity shop. There Is a good selection, some obscure stuff. 19 pence a disc so I took the lot.

 

You asked about PS2 promo discs then listed PS1 discs. Which do you have?
They have drastically dropped in value over the years as more and more have surfaced but titles like RE will still sell easily.

You'll obviously get more if you have the sleeves for them too.

 

It's 90 % ps2. A couple of dc and a few ps1. Mainly jewel case. A lot with inserts.

 

Pictures would really help with an actual value, that or a list at least.
As I said, prices have dropped substantially over the last few years but decent titles with their respective sleeves will sell well.

@ retro : I would be interested to see what titles we are talking about and would give my opinion about prices. But for sure PM would shortly follow if I would find something I'm looking for ;-)

What I'm trying to say is prices are very different from a title to another. For sure anything Silent Hill, Resident Evil, Metal Gear Solid related may be worth a good money (€40+) (also depending of the exact condition of the games).
That's years that I'm collecting them, this is a very odd market.

It's certainly the more collectible series that attract decent prices where promos are concerned. Many shops used to sell them slightly cheaper than the normal games, as they didn't have instructions.
