Got my new issue of GMR magazine today, and I noticed a little sidebar confirming that Rez, along with Panzer Dragoon Orta and some other game I forgot, will be getting re-released for their respective systems here in the US sometime in November for the wonderful budget price of $19.99. It's no Dreamcast version, but I'm definately not going to pass up this chance.
You can get rez for the ps2 here for less then 15 euro's, the game is well worth it although the controls are a bit flimsey compared to the tight controls of teh dreamcast version
how about sound? I remember 'back in the days' that the dreamcast verion had slightly crisper graphics... but sound... the ps2 has dolbyD and optical out.. so probally it would me ear-blowing good? :smt082
Personaly the only difference i found between both versions is the loading time, which is longer on the ps2
I quite frankly dont give a damn so as long as I get to own a copy of Rez. Last time I saw it at a store, it went for $50 AND it was used with the CD ONLY. Now those SOBs at gamestop can't mark up that game because of its rerelease.
There's LOADS of copies here for 10e, like Silverbolt said The DC version is another matter though...
