Hey, I'm after a working launch model NTSCJ SCPH-10000 PS2, or working motherboard to replace/repair my sadly defunct glitchy one. Preferably UK, but don't mind elsewhere if the postage isn't too crazy. thanks.

There are 3 revisions of the board. The first is GH-001 with a 1.00 bios, the second has a v1.01 bios and the 3rd is a GH-003 (essentially an SCPH-15000 in a 10k case). Normally not an issue but if you have the PS2 Utility disc v1.00 (the recalled one with the region free bug) you will need a 1.00 bios.

All true.. My broken one is/was a GH01. I have a 1.0, and 1.1 utility disc though so will be ok with either motherboard. And I think the 15000 and 18000 don't need a utility disc? They have a later bios with built in DVD playback? Thanks though.

15000 needed a disc, 18000 came in 2 versions one with a clip on dvd bios but otherwise was a 15000, the other with a GH-008 board that had used some 2nd generation chips similar to the 30000

Found a motherboard on ebay, so if its not faulty I don't need one any more. Thanks.
