Even with the strong sterling to us dollar exchange rate, I'd say it was only a good deal. If I were paying in us dollars then I'd have to ask myself if I really wanted it for that price.

As soon as the PS2 is no longer supported then all bets are off as to how many of these will surface ( same goes for TOOL's ).

Now a PSOne debugging station would be another thing entirely.

I still think it's an excellent deal as we are talking about hypothetical consoles arriving on the market when the PS2 is finally dumped. As it's sales are strong and Sony appear to have committed themselves to another couple of years of production, then we are talking about todays prices. The PS2 Test (Phat version) still sells very strongly, so I can't see why the slimline would be a donkey? They go for more than $300, so well done!

Someone who really must have a slimline test will pay more than that today, so all you can do is ask yourself if you are that person.

Given that I've seen them go for more, I'd have to say yes I would pay £150 for one. ;-)
