PS2 stuttering video when playing PS1 games through HDMI Conversor

    It's probably the "HDMI conversor" fault. PS1 games output at 240p and that thing is not only converting analog video to digital, but also adding lag by trying to upcale it.

    Also, your TV might be having issues with this converted signal. If you're using a PS2 for PS1 games, try using a component cable. If your TV accepts 240p signals through component, you're better using it than some cheap product like that.

    There's also a PS2 HDMI converter (http://www.dx.com/p/ps2-male-to-hdmi-female-converter-adapter-black-150982 ) but i never tried one.
